Cultural Christianshavn Private Walking Tour

Gaze down the canal of Nyhavn, out into the bustling waters of Copenhagen's harbour. Appearing to rise out of the water in the distance, you spot a newly developed residential complex. Poking up behind it are crooked houses full of character. We hop across the harbour over the "Kissing Bridge" to have a closer look (mind the bikes zooming by, this is Copenhagen!). We've now arrived in a new inner-city district, Christianshavn. So let our exploration of Cultural Christianshavn begin! 

Christianshavn has a fascinating history and is a place of visual arts, alternative lifestyle (can you guess in which area?) and harbourside hangouts. Have we hooked you yet? We turn the corner and... Wait, have we popped over to Amsterdam?! No, we're still in Copenhagen, walking along the lovely canals of Christianshavn. Hear the water rippling against the houseboats that line the narrow waterways. Walking down quiet streets and over bridges, don't forget to look up and appreciate the beautiful architecture around you. Soon enough, you'll be looking up at the Church of Our Saviour, with its famous spiral tower, and be met with a display of colour at the gates to the Freetown of Christiania.
